So I have fallen in love with a sandwich at one of my staple restaurants... Bill Miller Bar-B-Que. If you know anything about Bill's, you know that their Poor Boys are great, their tea is the best and their brownies will put a person in a sugar coma...yes, they are that good.
Focusing on the Poor Boys, it should be said that they come with your choice of meat inside (brisket, chicken, turkey, or sausage) and regardless of your choice, the sandwich is VERY scrumptious. HOWEVER, I have learned of a new choice, The Wild Bill. OMG. The Wild Bill is a Poor Boy with BOTH brisket and sausage. I would love to shake the hand of the person who came up with this idea. I mean who on earth would even think to order such a concoction, besides me? I don't think I have to tell you that I ordered and savored one today and my world shook. It was a perfect blend of bar-b-que tastes what made me all but weep with happiness.
The most amazing thing about this experience was that they didn't skimp on the portions of meat and the price was still the same as the regular combo...I think it is Number 1 on the combo menu.
I highly encourage you to try out the Wild Bill at Bill Miller Bar-B-Que you will never look at this San Antonio icon of a restaurant the same way.
